So who is behind FreeWP?  Well, a bunch of us.  Combined we have over 40 years of combined webmaster experience and nearly 20 years of combined WordPress experience.  We've built WordPress-based websites from nothing into industry leading websites with hundreds of thousands of visitors every month.  We've edited the WordPress core (you shouldn't really do that), had our own WordPress blogs since as early as 2005, designed dozens of WordPress themes, written numerous WordPress plugins, attended WordCamps (basically WordPress seminars) and much more!  We know WordPress.

We're confident that FreeWP is the single easiest and best way to get started with running WordPress your own domain name.  By installing both WordPress AND the theme for you, we've removed several of the most confusing web site setup steps.  All you have to do is worry about writing great content -- the rest of the technical hassle and design efforts have already been taken care of for you.  It doesn't get easier than this.
